"Regional Branding" Incubation Program Sets Sail at Greenland Global Trade Port

On November 9, 2019, on the 5th day of the 2nd China International Import Expo, the Brand Shanghai Innovative Incubation Center (BLIIC) partnered with the famous cross-border e-commerce platform-Yanlordo ( (young-buy.com), the first cross-border merchandise exhibition and trading platform was officially unveiled to the public at the opening ceremony of the "Regional Brand" incubation program and the Yangledo Cross-border Integrated Service Platform Pavilion at the Greenland Global Trade Port. Leaders from Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, Huangpu District Science and Technology Commission and Eastern National Technology Transfer Center attended the ceremony.

The Shanghai Brand Innovation Incubation Center (BSIIC) is jointly sponsored and operated by Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center and Huangpu District Science and Technology Commission, focusing on brand incubation services for innovative products of domestic and foreign SMEs. The "Regional Brand" incubation program launched by BSIIC focuses on solving the technical, personnel and financial pain points of foreign SMEs entering the Chinese market, focusing on the service targets within a certain natural region in the name of "regional brand". Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from abroad that have entered the Chinese market. The aim is to use "regional branding" as a vehicle to create favourable conditions and provide systematic services for their entry into the Chinese market through technical operations, market actions, public policies and other means.


It is reported that the "regional brand" incubation plan intends to start from cross-border commodity display and trade, the first cross-border commodity display and trade area is located on the third floor of the Greenland Global Trade Port, with an area of more than 300 square meters, the future will be 6 days + 365 days as the Fair all year round display and trading platform, hosting exhibitions, merchandise trading, new product launches, consumer experience. At the same time, it interacts with thematic exhibition areas of various industries and categories within the trade port to promote the operation and promotion of regional brands.

At the ceremony, Mr. Zhang Jianliang, General Manager of Shanghai Brand Innovation and Incubation Center, gave a welcome speech to the guests. In his speech, General Manager Zhang Jianliang briefly introduced the "Regional Brand" incubation program and its integrated service platform for cross-border e-commerce trade - the Yang Leduo platform.

Afterwards, Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, delivered a speech, congratulating the launch of the Regional Brand Incubation Program and suggesting that the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center will join hands with the Brand Innovation Incubation Center to provide relevant service support in the whole chain of SME product trading. SMEs participating in the Regional Brand Cooperation Program will be included in the service network of the Eastern Center, enjoying regular data on domestic and foreign achievements, demand and industry research, as well as participating in all kinds of scientific, technological and economic activities held by the government at all levels in Shanghai, with priority access to project review and project roadshow services provided by the Eastern Center. In the future, the regional brand cooperation plan will be fully integrated with the innovation elements of the national platform of the Eastern Center, aligning with Shanghai and international innovation resources and providing one-stop services.

Afterwards, Roy Chen, general manager of the Yangledo platform, introduced the basic situation and development plan of the cross-border e-commerce platform.

After the speech, Zhu Zhenghong, Director of Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, Huang Lihong, Deputy Director of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Dan Hanchun, Deputy Director of Huangpu District Science and Technology Commission, Xie Jihua, President of National Technology Transfer East Center, and Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, cut the ribbon together.

For the premiere of the "Regional Brand" incubation program, BSIIC has chosen the Oita region of Japan, the birthplace of the "One Village, One Product" movement, as the location for its The first object of the "Regional Brand" incubation program. Due to a high degree of consistency in concept and vision, the two sides have determined a strong intent to cooperate after only 1 month of consultation and communication, and have initially established a close cooperative relationship. It is understood that, in addition to the 3-week exhibition and promotion of products during the 2nd Fair, Dafen products will also be traded on the Yanlordo cross-border e-commerce platform in the form of cross-border pass trade. After that, BSIIC will also carry out more in-depth and comprehensive cooperation with relevant departments of Oita in order to help establish, promote, improve and maintain the regional brand of Oita Japan through systematic sales promotion actions and cultural and travel promotion planning.
Zhang Jianliang, General Manager of the Shanghai Brand Innovation Incubation Center (BSIIC), said that BSIIC and its partners are fully prepared to launch the "Regional Brand" incubation program, with more than 12000 square meters of cross-border e-commerce bonded warehouses and 4800 micro-business promotion stores, and have established a corresponding theme. BSIIC has also gathered and integrated a large number of service providers with excellent professional capabilities in the field of establishing, promoting and maintaining "regional brands" in the future. Currently, BSIIC is working with partners from all over the world, including Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Korea and other countries, to incubate "regional brands".
