First "Excellence Series" Training Course for STSA Focal Points Successfully Completed

In order to enable service providers to more effectively help enterprises to use innovation vouchers, efficiently carry out service docking with enterprises, and explore outstanding projects in depth, from November 7 to November 8, 2019, the National Center for Technology Transfer East (NCTT East), together with renowned experts in the industry from the "Hurun Shanghai Technology Transfer Organization List", conducted a survey of service provider liaison officers from November 7 to November 8, 2019. The first special training. This training was jointly organized by the Eastern National Technology Transfer Centre and the National Training Center for Technology Transfer.

At the beginning of the course, Li Li, Chief Technology Officer of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, gave a basic introduction of the training. On the first day of the course, Sun Zhengxin, President of the International Institute for Technology Transfer, talked about the past, present and future of technology transfer, from the initial construction of the technology transfer system to the current layout of the technology transfer center, all of which are inseparable from policy support and the contribution of science and technology services. Subsequently, Li Li, Chief Technology Officer of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, explained in detail the problems in the use of innovation vouchers in terms of policy knowledge, process savvy and operational expertise, and gave a positive outlook on the exploration of the Yangtze River Delta Innovation Voucher and the future of science and technology innovation.

After the morning lecture, the participants had a basic understanding of technology transfer and technology innovation vouchers, and Mr. Yan Mingfeng, CEO of the National Center for Technology Transfer (NCTT), introduced the practice of building the technology transfer system of NCTT, explaining the current positioning, channels, results database, service mall, exhibition activities, incubation database and Shanghai Technology Exchange of NCTT. All the service agency liaison officers present at the seminar are indispensable members of the innovation voucher team. Afterwards, Mr. Dong Zhongwen, an expert from the Upper Bay Valley IP Agency, gave a presentation on how to use innovation vouchers to help enterprises explore and analyze their needs, and used real cases to illustrate the actual benefits and innovative development brought by the innovation voucher policy. During the lecture, some participants asked what kind of corporate clients need to be explored by the service providers. How do you efficiently tap into and nurture your company's innovation needs? Mr. Dong answered a series of questions one by one, and the atmosphere was active and interactive.

On the second day of the training, Ms. Tang Xiaolin, an expert from Shanghai Yun Hatching Information Technology Co., Ltd. explained to the participants how to judge and dock the technical achievements. In the afternoon, Mr. Zhang Zhiyun from Shanghai Sheng Zhihua Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd. explained the cultivation of high value patents and evaluation of scientific and technological achievements to the trainees, proposed the importance of high quality and high value patents and analyzed their business model, and told them the importance of patent management in enterprise development with typical cases. In the case study, Mr. Liu combined technology with investment and finance, drew on international experience to summarize his own views and give thoughts on the practical problems involved. He also discussed with the participants how to use the innovation voucher policy to support the transfer of university results.

The short two-day training course was rich in content, with professional and wonderful lectures by experts, attentive and serious students, and active interaction at the training site, which made the training very effective.
