Afterwards, Deputy Director of Putuo District Science and Technology Commission, Mr. Yan Hengsai, delivered a speech for the event. In his speech, Mr. Yan said that Putuo District, as the characteristic carrying area of Shanghai CRE center, actively aligned with the national strategy and municipal requirements, and closely focused on the goal and mission of accelerating the construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence, and identified the construction of "CRE-driven transformation practice area and livable eco-zone". "The PuTuo District has the overall goal and functional layout of "one axis and two wings". In the future, Putuo District will focus on the construction of "one park, one axis and one center" and invite enterprises, universities, institutes, technology transfer agencies and experts from home and abroad to participate in the Shanghai Putuo District Branch of the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge and the 2nd Putuo District Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition to provide technical support and innovation empowerment for Putuo enterprises.

The China Innovation Challenge combines the "R & D crowdsourcing" model with the Yangtze River Delta's science and technology innovation synergy, and aims to build an open platform for proposing and solving needs through a "competition" that radiates the Yangtze River Delta and collects solutions from around the world.
