The "2019 Shanghai-Ningbo Science and Technology Cooperation Achievements Promotion Meeting", co-organized by the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau, and undertaken by Ningbo Productivity Promotion Center, was held in Shanghai on July 10.

The symposium is a powerful practice for Ningbo to actively integrate into Shanghai metropolitan area under the integration strategy of Yangtze River Delta development, and aims to further deepen "Shanghai-Ningbo" cooperation and docking, and strengthen the scientific and technological cooperation between "Shanghai-Ningbo" universities, institutes and enterprises and institutions. Exchange of resources between the two regions to achieve complementarity and sharing of resources, and jointly promote the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

At the meeting, Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market (SITEM) and Ningbo Science and Technology Market (NSTM) jointly signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Fang Tianye, Vice President of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, and Lin Hongquan, Deputy Director of Ningbo Productivity Center, signed the agreement as representatives of the construction and operation units of the two large markets. The signing of the two large markets is a new opportunity to promote the cooperation of technology transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements between Shanghai and Ningbo. The core of the project is to accelerate the flow of scientific and technological resources, technology transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the region, and to serve and promote the industrial upgrading and collaborative development of a series of related enterprises in the two regions.
