On June 23, 2019, the 4th Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Conference organized by the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center with the participation of the Science and Technology Cow was successfully held at the Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This conference relies on the technology cattle industry-university-research platform, in response to current hot issues, invited Professor Du Debin, Dean of the Institute of Global Innovation and Development at East China Normal University, to give a special lecture on "Cracking the dilemma of enterprise science and technology innovation".

When the mission of technology and innovation is implemented, how do Chinese companies break through the technology and innovation? In Professor Dudbin's view, the first thing is to achieve independent innovation and open innovation. Independent innovation and open innovation is not contradictory, with an open mind to meet the global resources for independent innovation. Secondly, we need to constantly explore the international market, but also pay attention to the domestic market, and be ready at any time. Finally, we not only need leading enterprises to take the lead in innovation, but also need small and micro enterprises to take the initiative to innovate, all large enterprises are grown up from small and micro enterprises, the hope of scientific and technological innovation lies in each enterprise to accumulate less into more, and gather sand into tower.

Mr. Lu Jijun, Assistant President of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and General Manager of National University Technology Market, was invited to deliver a speech for the conference. Mr. Lu, starting from the current trade war between China and the United States, pointed out that doing a good job in technology transfer and transformation is crucial to improving the competitiveness of national science and technology. Mr. Lu mentioned that technology transfer and transformation should not only solve the "last kilometer" but also the "first kilometer" to increase the value of original scientific and technological achievements. Mr. Huang Yanzhe, Director of Technology Mall of Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, was invited to give a speech on Innovation Challenge Policy, and showed the video of the launch ceremony of the Challenge released in this year's Pujiang Innovation Forum - Global Technology Transfer Conference, introducing in detail the mechanism and new features of this year's Challenge, and the entrepreneurs, experts from colleges and universities, and experts from institutions of higher learning. The service organizations have expressed their willingness to actively participate in this year's Challenge. He mentioned that as one of the organizers of this year's Challenge, Shanghai Yishu (Science and Technology Cow) will tap effective technical needs in the field it undertakes and make a good docking of supply and demand, and the East Center will work with the Science and Technology Cow and other special event organizers and related contractors to present a wonderful event feast for everyone.
