On the afternoon of June 12, a conference on the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and operation of intellectual property rights was held at the Versailles Hall of the Shanghai Science Hall by the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center (ENTTC) in cooperation with the Shanghai Cost Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mr. Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of NTME, Mr. Fang Tianye, Vice President of NTME, Mr. Chen Jue, Director of Shanghai Cost Research Institute Training Center, Mr. Qian Wen, Director of China Shanghai Free Trade Pilot Zone Intellectual Property Association and other guests attended the event.

Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, said in his opening speech that talents for the transfer of technological achievements play a key role in the promotion of the whole innovation system for the transfer of technological achievements. Up to now, the Eastern Center has been cooperating with Shanghai Cost Research Institute Training Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University for two years, and both sides have trained many excellent talents in the fields of capital operation, technological innovation and result transformation. At the meeting, five professionals recommended by Shanghai Cost Research and Training Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and passed the evaluation and selection were awarded the appointment letter of the National Technology Transfer Talent Training Base (Eastern Center) as invited lecturers.

Focusing on the theme of commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, Liu Haihong, lecturer at the Law School of Shanghai International Studies University, opened the lecture with "Differentiated Competitive Strategies of Enterprises in the Field of Intellectual Property Rights", popularizing the relevant knowledge of enterprise intellectual property competition for the participants. After that, two experts, Zhang Yu, founder of Shanghai Lizhong Law Firm and Zhao Wei, partner of Grandall Law Firm, delivered speeches on "Trade Secrets and Non-competition" and "Intellectual Property Disputes and Risk Prevention in the IPO Process" respectively, and further elaborated on the commercialization of enterprise achievements and the relevant operation of intellectual property through case studies and experience sharing. Finally, Mr. Qian Wen, Director of China Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone Intellectual Property Association, shared the "Intellectual Property Protection of Chinese Enterprises under the U.S.-China Trade Dispute", which reinforced the importance of commercialization of enterprise achievements and operation of intellectual property from a strategic perspective. More than 80 participants from institutes, universities and enterprises interacted with the experts.

At the end of the event, Mr. Fang Tianye, Vice President of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, introduced the project of incubating unicorns for listing in the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau.
