Innovation Challenge at Shanghai Polytechnic Science and Technology Park

The China Innovation Challenge is an innovation crowdsourcing service activity that openly collects solutions for specific technological innovation needs through a "Top Ranking Competition", which has received wide attention since its launch in 2015.

In 2019, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission will continue to take the lead in organizing the 4th China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the 2nd Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge. In order to better serve enterprises, stimulate their innovation capacity and promote the transfer of results, the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge will focus on three directions: the large enterprise innovation competition, the Yangtze River Delta industry competition and the international innovation competition.

On May 31, the promotional activities of the China Innovation Challenge went into the enterprise symposium of Shanghai Polytechnic Park. The seminar was organized by Yangpu District Science and Technology Committee and Shanghai Polytechnic Park, with more than 20 enterprises participating. Huang Yanzhe, Director of the Operation Department of the Technology Mall of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, led the team to promote the event.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Huang introduced the history and business development of the East Center, and highlighted the results of last year's China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the overall plan for this year's event. Compared to last year's event, this year's China Innovation Challenge has involved 14 districts and counties in Shanghai, and was carried out in collaboration with Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. In addition, this year's event also launched a platform for information collection and promotion, such as the WeChat mini-program, to facilitate enterprises and service providers to learn about the dynamics of the competition and demand matching in real time.

Afterwards, Project Manager Xie Yue of the Innovation Voucher Operation Department of the National Center for Technology Transfer East introduced the latest policy on innovation vouchers for 2019 to the participating enterprises.

The 2019 Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge hopes to fully unleash the innovation potential of "folk masters", promote innovation and creativity relative to market demand, promote cross-border innovation through the intersection of disciplines, input original scientific and technological achievements for enterprise innovation, and form a new pattern of innovation and entrepreneurship in which all participate in innovation and all challenge demand.
