On May 26, 2019 Pujiang Innovation Forum Industry Forum 1: Global Technology Transfer Conference was successfully held in Minhang District, Shanghai. At the meeting, the first four-way joint meeting of the Yangtze River Delta technology market in 2019 was held, the 4th China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the 2nd Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge were officially launched, the 2019 Hurun Shanghai Technology Service Provider List was released to the public, and technology transfer experts from China, Singapore, Israel, the Netherlands, Denmark and other countries gathered together to discuss the business of technology transfer and transformation.

Yang Xianwu, Deputy Director General of the Department of Transformation and Regional Innovation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Lu Min, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and Wu Bin, Deputy Mayor of Minhang District of Shanghai, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Yang Xianwu, Deputy Director General of the Department of Transformation and Regional Innovation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that the theme of the forum, about further strengthening the transfer and transformation of internationalized technological achievements, is a very important issue, and we need to exchange good practices and experience in the transfer and transformation of achievements from various countries through exchanges at home and abroad.

Elka Nir, head of the Technology Transfer Center at the University of Haifa in Israel, one of Asia's leading countries in science, technology and innovation, gave a keynote speech on "Accelerating Innovative Technologies to Market", sharing the reasons behind the proliferation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Israel's high-tech sector and how TTMCs have become more in touch with the capital and the market; similarly, with many years of experience in technology transfer to new technologies and in the commercialization of a range of emerging technologies, he shared his views on the role of TTMCs in the technology transfer ecosystem. Yehuda Yarmut, a professional and former senior advisor of the Nanyang Technological University's (NTU) New Technology Transfer Center (NTTC), gives his views on how to bridge the gap between the China-Israel technology trade and enable the exchange of technology between the two countries....
