In order to further implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on promoting higher quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, Huang Wei, Deputy Inspector of the Department of Transformation and Regional Innovation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Li Youping, Deputy Director of the Torch Center, and Zhang Quan, Director of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission participated in the research.

Vice Minister Xu Nanping and his delegation visited the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Yumo Consulting, Shanghai-Kunming Science and Technology Innovation Center and other platforms and institutions, and encouraged Yumo Consulting, which is deeply committed to clean technology, to "deepen the many opportunities". At the symposium, Director Zhang Quan of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission reported on the construction of the Yangtze River Delta regional innovation system, and proposed the next stage of exploring the establishment of a Yangtze River Delta science and technology achievement transformation resource bank, an orderly flow of industry and innovation resources service mechanism, an integrated technology trading market innovation path, and the establishment of a unified and open innovation system.

Vice Minister Xu Nanping listened carefully to nine organizations, including the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, in the fields of ecological integration, protection and utilization of the Yangtze River estuary, food safety, intelligent transportation, technology transfer, etc. He also put forward work requirements on the integration of primary medical care in the Yangtze River Delta and the integration of air pollution emission standards. Vice Minister Xu spoke positively of Shanghai's efforts to promote the integrated development of science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta, pointing out that the integration of the Yangtze River Delta is a national strategy, and that the science and technology system should be duty-bound to strengthen the top-level design and coordination to achieve innovation integration.

Over the years, science and technology authorities in three provinces and one city have gathered all kinds of innovative factor resources and promoted regional integration and development in the Yangtze River Delta, actively carried out the planning and layout of emerging industrial fields, issued a number of policies and measures, jointly planned innovation mechanisms, promoted the construction of international big science programs and big science projects, and gathered to develop scientific landmarks. At the same time, based on regional characteristics, the Yangtze River Delta regions promote cross-regional transformation of results and build a platform for sharing scientific and technological resources, and as of the end of 2018, have gathered more than 40,000 units (sets) of large-scale scientific instrument facilities from more than 2,000 units, helping many places in the Yangtze River Delta to graft Shanghai and international technology transfer resources, and co-organizing the first Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge 2018 to enhance cooperation and communication and integrate multifaceted information Helping to innovate.
