500 business innovation needs released to the world in three provinces and one city

Provinces and cities will conduct live competitions in November according to their own characteristics

It is reported that the competition is guided by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, co-sponsored and hosted by Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department, Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Department, and Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Department, and invited by the Minhang District People's Government of Shanghai to host the competition. Open platform for proposing needs and solving them, promoting open innovation of enterprises, cooperation between industry, universities and research institutes, development of specialized science and technology service industry, and promotion of regional innovation capacity and industrial transformation and upgrading.

Since the launch of the competition in April, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, together with the science and technology departments of three provinces, has formulated policies and actively carried out publicity, training and enterprise visits. The Shanghai Municipal Government has widely mobilized districts, industrial zones, parks and incubators to explore the innovation needs of enterprises, and has organized eight "Innovation Challenge Special Training Sessions" with the participation of 400 people from nearly 300 enterprises.

The conference selected 500 quality requirements for the global open call for solutions. Among them, 130 are from Shanghai, 100 from Zhejiang, 125 from Jiangsu and 145 from Anhui. In November, each province and city will carry out on-site competitions according to their own characteristics, giving full play to the characteristics of each province and city to strengthen the docking of industry-specific technical requirements.

Youth Daily has learned that the 3rd China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the 1st Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge, as an important platform for collaborative innovation development built by three provinces and one city, will further promote normal communication, open innovation, international channel connection, professional services and synergistic linkage of science and technology innovation and transformation in the Yangtze River Delta.

The Yangtze River Delta Joint Meeting serves as a regular communication process to clarify the tasks and roles played by each province and municipality, and to establish a Yangtze River Delta innovation and cooperation mechanism for information sharing. In early August, Shanghai and Jiangsu jointly released the first batch of 150 requirements (100 in Shanghai and 50 in Jiangsu) in areas such as electronics and information, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing and automation, new materials, resources and environment.

The Challenge is a useful attempt in the open innovation of large enterprises, with Baowu Group holding a special competition for large enterprises, Gree Electric, BMW and other large domestic and foreign enterprises participating in the industry competition and announcing their technical requirements; small and medium-sized enterprises actively participating in solving the requirements, and the ratio of SMEs to universities and institutes submitting solutions is 3:1 in the first batch of requirements released in Minhang District. 30 enterprises have already been deployed in Shanghai. International technology transfer channels and international creative spaces will be shared with the Yangtze River Delta as a "link" to precisely match and match overseas technology resources and attract quality overseas achievements to land in the Yangtze River Delta.
