On Thursday, September 13, the East National Technology Transfer Center and 114 Industry-Academia-Research Innovation Cooperation Platform came to the Shanghai Solar Energy Engineering and Technology Research Center (SSERC), located at No. 880 Ziyang Road, for on-site communication and collection of technological innovation needs for the China Innovation Challenge.

During the meeting, SESERC further understood the rules, competition cycle and reward measures of the China Innovation Challenge, and fully affirmed the significance of the competition for enterprises' open innovation and the improvement of the two-way channel of R & D capability outreach, as well as a measure to promote the mutual flow between the market science and technology results and the technology demand side in order to promote the efficiency of resource allocation. A number of technical requirements and related technical achievements of the center will be filled in before the end of the requirement collection on September 20, 2011 and finally posted on the event website for immediate comparison of supply and demand.

Shanghai Solar Energy Engineering and Technology Research Center is a Shanghai-level engineering and technology research center authorized by Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. The center is located in the Zizhu National High-Tech Park, covering an area of 26,000 square meters and relying on the advanced space photovoltaic technology of the Shanghai Aerospace Bureau, focusing on basic photovoltaic research, key technologies, products and equipment. Since its establishment ten years ago, the annual output value of the company has grown from more than 3 million to over 100 million today.
