The Third China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the First Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge Launched

On April 19, the Sixth Shanghai Fair was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Among them, the "Technology Transfer Zone" covers 570 square meters, with "Yangtze River Delta Innovation Cooperation" and "Technology Transactions and Transfer and Transformation" as the core elements, showing the 2017 Shanghai Promote the effectiveness of the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements and showcase transferable innovative technologies and achievements at home and abroad.

The Yangtze River Delta Innovation Cooperation and Development Forum was held under the theme of "Sharing and Integration, Building Highland for Transformation of Achievements". Leaders and experts from all walks of life exchanged views on the integration and development of Shanghai Minhang, Zhejiang, Sunan, Ningbo and other national demonstration zones for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, as well as the interconnection and interoperability of scientific and technological innovation and transformation services resources in the Yangtze River Delta, with a view to enhancing the overall effectiveness of regional transfer of scientific and technological achievements and building a practice zone for the ecological construction of science and technology collaboration and innovation in the Yangtze River Delta.

In the morning, the 3rd China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the 1st Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge were officially launched. The China Innovation Challenge is an innovation crowdsourcing service activity that openly collects solutions for specific technological innovation needs through a "Ranking Competition", which has been held for two editions.

It is reported that the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission (SSTC) first hosted the China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) in 2017, dedicated to guiding the city's enterprises to open innovation and stimulating demand for innovation; dedicated to fostering a number of specialized science and technology service providers to "surface" potential demand and turn it into technological innovation; dedicated to innovation-driven regional industrial transformation and upgrading We will adhere to the principles of "demand orientation, global docking, precise service and normal tracking", pool the wisdom and efforts of all, promote the matching of technology supply and demand, and form an ecological system for the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Putting forward the first Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge is the general trend, and is also going along with the trend. We will implement the National Technology Transfer System Construction Program, the Cooperation Framework Agreement on Jointly Promoting the Construction of Synergistic Innovation Network in the Yangtze River Delta Region, the Cooperation Agreement on Jointly Promoting the Construction of Technology Transfer System in the Yangtze River Delta Region, and other documents; and actively implement the proposal put forward by Li Qiang, Secretary of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, to "build the Yangtze River Delta into a leading demonstration area for the implementation of the new development concept in China, and become a The Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge is an important carrier and innovation path to become an Asia-Pacific gateway for global resource allocation and a world-class city cluster with global competitiveness.

The Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge has a strong foundation and accumulated resources. The Yangtze River Delta has always been one of the regions in China where cooperation in science and technology innovation is the most dynamic, frequent and intensive. Dating back to the "Sunday Engineer" in the 1980s and 1990s, a group of scientific and technical personnel from universities, research institutes and state-owned enterprises in Shanghai served a large number of small and medium-sized township enterprises and private enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, and many private enterprises of considerable scale nowadays were the first bucket of gold. "Can't do without these Shanghai engineers. When the Municipal Science and Technology Commission first hosted the China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) in 2017, it found that Shanghai universities, research institutes, science and technology service agencies have been deeply serving and active in the Yangtze River Delta Innovation Challenge activities and local enterprises. Of the six national demonstration zones for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements that have been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), four are in the Yangtze River Delta region: Shanghai Minhang, Zhejiang, Jiangsu Sunan and Ningbo.

The implementation of the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge grasps the characteristics of the times and focuses on interoperability. The first is to highlight the connection with national competitions, and strive to make the event an important service platform for the host region of the China Innovation Challenge in the Yangtze River Delta, as well as a channel for enterprises in other regions of the Yangtze River Delta to find global solutions; the second is to highlight the connection with international innovation resources. On the one hand, the event will precisely dovetail and match overseas scientific and technological resources to attract high-quality overseas achievements to settle in the Yangtze River Delta; on the other hand, it will dovetail the needs of enterprises in countries along the "Belt and Road" with scientific and technological innovation and industrial resources in the Yangtze River Delta; thirdly, it will highlight linkage, synergy and early and pilot testing, and the event will explore the transfer of scientific and technological achievements from four countries to the Yangtze River Delta. The synergistic linkage of the demonstration zone, exploring the Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market, the Zhejiang Science and Technology Market, the Jiangsu Technology Equity Exchange Market, the Anhui Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Market and the Anhui Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Market.

The collaboration of the four technology markets in the service center will explore a common exchange mechanism for Yangtze River Delta science and technology innovation vouchers, explore the open sharing of science and technology innovation and transformation service resources, and accumulate valuable practical experience for service integration, policy synergy and transaction standardization in the Yangtze River Delta.
