On November 6, 2017, the first batch of technology requirements for the 2nd China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) were released to the world at the Fengxian District Convention Center. The China Innovation Challenge is an innovation crowdsourcing service activity that openly collects solutions for enterprises' technological innovation needs through "unveiling the list of competitions".In September 2017, the State Council issued the Program for the Construction of the National Technology Transfer System, which proposed to "stimulate the vitality of innovation entities, strengthen the Technology Supply and Demand Matching"; Shanghai issued the "Shanghai Regulations on Promoting the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements" and "Shanghai Action Plan for Promoting the Transfer of Scientific and Technological Achievements (2017-2020)" in April and June respectively, emphasizing from different angles to further stimulate enterprises' innovation needs and enhance their innovation capabilities. The first batch of 73 technology demands focused on electronic information, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, new materials and environmental protection and energy conservation, highlighting the future trend of technology trends. For example, the demand for artificial intelligence, AI, big data and other applications accounted for more than one-third, reflecting the future pattern of innovation centered on intelligence and the interconnectedness of all things through digitalization. More than 20 technology demands in the field of advanced manufacturing reflect the development trend of the manufacturing industry based on the information age, including the increasing digitization and intelligentization of scientific research tools, the relocation and collaboration of innovation modes, user participation in the innovation process, virtualization and networking of research and development means, and other characteristics.
