On April 4 and 13, the opening ceremony of the 6th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Month in Taicang City and the theme forum of "Integrating into Shanghai, Technology Talents First" were held in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, and the Taicang Branch of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Taicang Branch") was present at the conference. The Taicang Branch Center was officially inaugurated by Mr. Wang Guoqi, Vice Chairman of Taicang CPPCC, and Mr. Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of National Technology Transfer East Center.

The Taicang branch center will focus on combining biomedicine, new materials, advanced manufacturing and other industrial fields, and promote the construction of cooperation with local high-tech industrial parks, industrial technology research institutes, industrial financial services platform. The cooperation between East Center and Taicang can introduce the needs of local enterprises and technical project resources to the platform of East Center on the one hand, and on the other hand, East Center can connect the channels and institutional resources on the platform to the local Taicang. Shanghai and Taicang are geographically and socially connected and have close ties in many aspects of economy and society. The establishment of Taicang Branch Center is to realize the seamless connection between Taicang's science and technology and talent resources and Shanghai. We will continue to explore and deepen the cooperation with Shanghai's universities and institutes, as well as new paths in school-enterprise cooperation and industry-university-research cooperation.

The Taicang branch center is an important layout for the East Center to establish the joint meeting system and collaborative innovation platform of three provinces and one city, which will drive the economic development and industrial innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region. The two sides will take the Taicang branch center as the base for cooperation, further deepen the cooperation and communication in terms of project landing, policy guidance, etc., and work together to establish an intercommunication link for the technology transfer and transformation of the two places.
