Everyone's look is both nervous and excited, they opened the brain hole to get started, write the program to move the mouth, 2017 Shanghai International Hacker Competition is hot.

Guided by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and hosted by the INNOSPACE+ startup community and the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, the competition is also said to be a major event at the main venue of the 2017 Shanghai Science and Technology Festival.

The theme of this competition is "The People - Create the Future", which collects the wisdom of the public and helps them innovate. The competition encourages s to combine innovative ideas and technologies, promotes the construction of culture and ecology, facilitates the continuous optimization of the innovation ecological environment, promotes in-depth communication among professional s in the innovation field, and builds products with social and industrial values. This year's competition involves many countries and cities, and it is a great opportunity for s to gather together, inspire their creativity and transform it into products, and complete the perfect transformation from works to products.

The competition was launched on May 12, 2017 and the final event was divided into three events and one experience: a blockchain development competition, a youth creative carpentry competition, a maker development competition and a creative craft public experience. The Blockchain Development Competition was formed in just a few days from the launch on May 12 to the day of the competition on the 25th, with more than ten development projects covering distributed energy, social, industrial applications, visual browsers, school management systems, Internet of Things and other fields. In order to provide participants with a better creative environment and bring out their best creativity, the organizer INNOSPACE+ also organized more than 20 pre-competition activities for participants, including blockchain development training, youth creative woodworking training, hardware development training, drone training, etc. The base also provided participants with the necessary tools and equipment free of charge to help participating teams realize their ideas quickly.

Unlike most competitions, this year's Shanghai International Hacker Competition is a mix of electronic hard technology, procedural soft technology, and creative non-technology. Sensors, chips, and programs are as much tools for turning ideas into reality as they are for things like woodworking equipment.

At the event, many young s formed small teams, using a piece of wood and a file to start their hacking journey. More than 30 middle school students from various high schools in Shanghai made creative works such as shared bookhouses.

Many of the participants said that they had participated in many IT science and technology competitions before, and this was their first time participating in a woodworking creativity competition. They learned a lot about various basic skills such as machine use safety and operation through the initial training, which was very rewarding.

In an interview with Youth Daily, Chen Chengqiang, director of INNOSPACE+, the organizer of this year's Shanghai International Makers Competition, said that the Shanghai International Makers Competition hopes to influence the power of innovation from around the world, breaking down city and country boundaries. While focusing on the commercialization ability of innovative projects, it should also return to the origin of innovation, stimulate creativity, encourage creativity and realize the transformation of ideas.
