On the afternoon of October 21, 2016, the "Practical Case Analysis of Technology Transfer" of the Shanghai Technology Transfer Lecture was held. The event, jointly organized by Shanghai Science and Technology Development and Exchange Center, Shanghai Technology Transfer Association and National Technology Transfer Talent Training Base (Eastern Center), attracted more than 80 people from technology transfer agencies, universities and research institutes engaged in technology transfer-related business.

Mr. Zhu Shidong, former Deputy Director of the Suzhou Productivity Center, was invited to the first Top Ten Outstanding Technology Brokers. Mr. Zhu has rich practical experience in technology transfer and has successfully facilitated the landing of more than ten technology transfer projects, and is the first individual who has received technology transfer funding incentive from Suzhou government. At the meeting, Mr. Zhu shared with the audience the typical cases, policies and perceptions of his work, and gave key explanations on the process of negotiation, shareholding structure and profit points of technology brokers. Mr. Zhu's professional and friendly image attracted a number of questions from the audience, and he further communicated with them on the details of project operation, skills, resource selection and other issues.
