At the conference, Xie Ning, European representative of National Center for Technology Transfer East, Robert Emond, Science and Technology Counsellor of Canadian Embassy in China, Dr. Felix Moesner, Science and Technology Consul of Swiss Federal Government, Richard Cuntz, Science and Technology Consul of German Consulate General in Shanghai, Stephen Brennan, Science and Technology Consul of British Consulate General in Shanghai, Xavier Assfeld, Science and Technology Consul of French Consulate General in Shanghai, held a roundtable discussion on the theme of "Cross-border innovation exchange under the new epidemic". Xavier ASSFELD, Consul for Science and Technology of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, had a roundtable discussion on the theme of "Transnational Innovation Exchange under the New Epidemic", and had a sincere exchange on how to grasp the opportunities of technological innovation and digital transformation and build technological ecosystem from the perspective of cooperation among countries.
In order to further expand domestic and international cooperation and promote better and faster development of science and technology innovation projects, the 6th China Innovation Challenge (Yangtze River Delta Regional Integration Special Session) and the launch ceremony of the 4th Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge and 2021 Torch Science and Technology Achievement Direct Train were grandly announced at the conference. At the same time, the National Center for Technology Transfer East signed a cooperation agreement with Steinbeis, the largest technology transfer agency in Europe, to jointly build a China headquarters, an international technology transfer platform and a talent training base, and to make extensive use of Steinbeis' global innovation network and resources for innovation and entrepreneurship project cooperation. At the end of the summit, Bertram Lohmueller, Director of the Steinbeis Institute for Global Studies (Tübingen) and Dean of the School of Resource Efficiency and Energy Management at the Steinbeis University Berlin, and Chen Xiujuan, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Shengzhihua Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd. gave a speech on topics such as the development of new forces of technology transfer. Chen Peng, CEO of Shanghai TechNiu, Dai Ning, President of Shanghai Semiconductor Association, and Jie Yucheng, Director of China (Yunnan)-Israel Innovation Center, represented the middle force of technology transfer, while Yan Minghua, Co-founder of Indig China, and Huang Junjie, Secretary General of Global Science and Innovation Think Tank, represented the young force of technology transfer to conduct a cross-generational dialogue on the intergenerational force of technology transfer.
