Background to the need.Graphene and carbon nanotubes are relatively new carbon structural materials with excellent properties that play a unique role in electrical and thermal conductivity and corrosion protection.
Requirement Description.
(1) Graphene: used in high-end anti-corrosion coating systems, zinc powder coatings, electrical conductivity, heat dissipation coatings; used in battery anode materials.
(2) Carbon nanotubes: for battery systems.
Technical requirements.
(1) Graphene: powder or slurry; sheet size 10-500 µm, with less than 10 layers and narrow distribution; purity >991 TP1T, metal content 500 S cm-1).
(2) Carbon nanotubes: powder or slurry; tube diameter 2-10 nm, length 50-500 µm, and narrow distribution; purity >98%, metal content <0.02%; 1:5 or more replacement of carbon black in battery systems.
