CleanConnect 2015 - The Second Cleantech Sub-Platform of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center's Cleantech Sub-Platform and Investment & Financing Summit was held again

The 2nd Cleantech Transfer & Investment & Financing Summit held by the Cleantech Sub-Platform of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center on November 3, 2015 was grandly held with a total of 286 participants from 13 countries. This included 33 overseas technology companies, 99 domestic environmental companies, 33 investment institutions, 15 research institutes and a number of government agencies that participated in this clean technology event. With this industry gathering, they exchanged, communicated, collided, rubbed shoulders, sought various ways of overseas technology transfer, and discussed the theory and practice of transnational technology cooperation and investment.

In order to better interpret the theme of "Entrepreneurship - Innovation", the summit has uniquely launched free Chinese materials production, innovative online reservation system, as well as industry consultant camp, industry-university-research integration and other fresh links to help cleantech professionals at home and abroad to better understand China's venture capital environment, thereby truly making entrepreneurship a reality. At the opening ceremony of the summit, Dr. Xu Rong, the founder and president of Yumo, made an opening speech, sharing with everyone the history and business of Yumo over the past year, and looking forward to everyone's participation in the cause of clean and environmental protection, to contribute to a greener Earth.

Next, Mr. Li Yanyan, President Assistant of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and General Manager of the Upper Bay Valley Innovation Center, gave a speech on the topic of "The Road to the Bay Valley". With the theme of "The Road to the Bay Valley", he explained his experience in technology transfer and his strategic planning for the future from the perspective of technology transfer, and proposed to work with international enterprises and organizations to develop innovative paths and further integrate resources to provide professional technology transfer services for enterprises.

At the "Entrepreneurship China" forum on November 4, Wang Yahong, Executive Vice President of the National Center for Technology Transfer East (NCTE), gave a presentation on the operation model of domestic incubators and accelerators and the innovative practice of technology transfer centers. Based on the three aspects of public service, professional service and value-added service, NTMEC strives to build an eco-innovation system by integrating multiple functions such as technology transaction, incubation and guidance, science and technology finance, and international docking, focusing on the core goal of being a cluster of international technology transfer and transformation functions.

The summit will focus on global cleantech companies, research institutes and China's top investors, executives and partners, ranging from the "amateur" who is full of curiosity and exploration of cleantech, to the "big buyer" with capital, to the professional environmentalists. The best of the best can be said to be a diverse and splendid stage. Experts from all over the world actively interacted with entrepreneurs and investors, not only explaining classic cases but also bringing new technologies and views to the participants, as well as sharing their experiences and thoughts on clean technology development strategies, building sustainable smart city clusters and international technology cooperation, which had a strong response.
