China-US Corporate Innovation Center (Boston) established

1 2 Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the inauguration of the China-U.S. Corporate Innovation Center (Boston) and the China-U.S. Corporate Co-Development Platform, established by the National Technology Transfer East Center, was held at the Massachusetts State House on March 4, 2015, U.S. local time. This is the first time in the history of Massachusetts that a U.S.-China partnership was inaugurated at the State House. Charlie Baker, Governor of Massachusetts, Dr. Jiansheng Li, Executive Chairman of the U.S.-China Partnership Development Council, Gene Hartigan, Co-Chairman of the U.S.-China Partnership Development Council, Michael K. Thomas, President of the Six New England States Commission on Higher Education, Juzzi, President of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, Nam, Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Economic Council, and the President of the U.S.-China Partnership Development Council. Pham, General Manager of the National Center for Technology Transfer East (NCTE) and Shanghai Yangpu Entrepreneurship Center (SYEC), and other officials attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the U.S.-China Enterprise Innovation Center (Boston), which was witnessed by scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials from China and the United States. The China-U.S. Enterprise Innovation Center (Boston) is a cross-border innovation cooperation platform jointly established by the National Technology Transfer East Center, Shanghai Yangpu Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, Hanhai Zhiye Investment Management Group and Chengdu Xingu Group with the support of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and the Massachusetts State Government. Founded in February 2015, the China-U.S. Corporate Innovation Center (Boston) is located in the heart of Massachusetts, near world-renowned universities and innovation institutions such as the University of Massachusetts, Harvard University, Microsoft Research Center, and IBM Global Innovation Center. The China-U.S. Enterprise Innovation Center (Boston) will work with the U.S.-China Cooperation and Development Commission to build a common development platform for Chinese and U.S. enterprises, become a M&A platform for China-U.S. "exchanges, exchanges, and transactions," build a transformation platform for China-U.S. technology, capital, and market interaction, and promote the development of China-U.S. international innovation integration. At noon on the same day, a luncheon was held at Harvard University to exchange ideas on innovation between Chinese and American enterprises. The president of the American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Association, cardiovascular experts from Bryan Women's Hospital, experts from Massachusetts General Hospital, international M&A lawyers, financial experts, entrepreneurs, and the morning guests and Chinese entrepreneurs gathered together to discuss innovation and cooperation. They all agreed that the establishment of a "Massachusetts-based, radiant U.S." China-U.S. Enterprise Innovation Center is very much in line with the current needs of enterprises, markets and governments between China and the United States. China and the United States are the two most important subjects of innovation in the world, and it is expected that the center will create commendable value in linking the two subjects. As the snow is melting and spring is returning to the land, the Sino-US Enterprise Innovation Center (Boston), with the concept of friendship, trust, cooperation and win-win, has settled in Massachusetts, USA, and opened a common development platform for Chinese and American enterprises to drive the globalization of Sino-US innovation, and opened a window of Sino-US cooperation with a global vision.
