2019 National Technology Transfer Personnel Training Base (Eastern Center) Technical Manager Series Training - Nantong Branch Center's First Technical Manager Training Course Successfully Concluded

The National Technology Transfer Eastern Center (NTME) is aiming to further implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements, deepen the integration of science and technology construction in the Yangtze River Delta, implement the Shanghai-Tongzhou science and technology cooperation, and strengthen the construction of technology transfer personnel in Nantong. The first special training course for technology managers of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center Nantong Branch will be held in Nantong from November 21 to November 22, 2019.

The training was directed by Nantong Science and Technology Bureau and Nantong Industrial Technology Research Institute, sponsored by National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and Nantong Hi-Tech Entrepreneurship Center, and undertaken by Nantong Branch Center of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center. Mr. Shi Congjun, Director of Regional Innovation Department of Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, Mr. Cao Song, Deputy Director of Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, Mr. Fan Sai, Party Secretary and General Manager of Nantong Industrial Technology Research Institute, Mr. Shen Feng, General Manager of Nantong Hi-Tech Pioneering Center, Mr. Xie Jihua, President of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Mr. Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and other leaders attended the training. Mr. Shi Yongjun, Director of Regional Innovation Division of Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, and Mr. Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, made opening speeches. In addition, Xie Jihua, President of the Eastern National Center for Technology Transfer, participated in the course and shared his own practice from the past development path to future opportunities and challenges for half a day. The training students from the city's counties (districts and cities) science and technology management departments, universities, research institutes, technology managers, a total of more than 120 students enthusiastically participated in the training.

Based on the actual needs of the Nantong Sub-center, the two-day training course covered macro development knowledge of technology transfer and key practical knowledge. It includes modules on the construction and future development of technology transfer system, business model innovation, legal risks and prevention in the process of negotiation and implementation of technology transfer, scientific and technological achievements and intellectual property rights, etc., and is organized around the theme of transfer of scientific and technological achievements.

The effect of this training activity was affirmed by the Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, and the eastern center will continue to exert the radiation effect of the national technology transfer talent training base, and continue to dock with Nantong in depth, setting up more systematic, deeper and more customized thematic training for regional technology managers. It will gradually realize the regional linkage of talents for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, laying a foundation for the future development of precise industrial docking, directional delivery of resources and deepening of business functions, and providing a more professional talent echelon support for the development of scientific and technological achievements transfer.
