Recently, the working group of China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) Putuo District visited Qidian Water (Shanghai) Co. Mr. Cai Yunqiu, Secretary of the Board of Directors, Mr. Lu Songliu, General Manager and Mr. Xu Haoyi, Deputy General Manager of Qidian Water Company (Shanghai) Co.

During the exchange, the working group of the China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) Putuo District introduced the competition process, timeline, incentive mechanism, policy and subsidies to the company representatives to enhance their understanding of the China Innovation Challenge. Mr. Lu Songliu, General Manager of Qidi Water (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. briefed the working group on the company's operations and business scope. The company has set up two new business divisions - Water Environment Division and Industrial Wastewater Division, which focus on testing services in sewers, rivers, end-of-river ecological restoration and wastewater management. However, the company is currently facing the problem of a single supplier of testing equipment, and hopes to connect with more domestic and foreign suppliers through the platform of the Challenge.

Representatives of Qidian Water affirmed that the China Innovation Challenge is an excellent platform to help enterprises solve their technology needs, and hoped to leverage the advantages of the Challenge platform's resources at home and abroad to connect with Israel's environmental quality technology. Currently, Qidian Water has published four technical requirements for challengers on the Challenge platform, and the Challenge Working Group will keep in close contact with enterprises to help them improve their innovation capabilities and achieve technological upgrades.
