The establishment of a sub-station of the Shanghai Technology Exchange in the Bay Valley aims to further serve the cause of science and technology innovation and to extend the reach to various science parks and public creation spaces, with the mission of serving enterprises and promoting the transformation of technological achievements and technology trading. one         What is a technology contract?

A technology contract is a contract entered into by the parties to determine their mutual rights and obligations with respect to technology development, transfer, consulting or services.

They are generally divided into technology development contracts, technology transfer contracts, technology consulting contracts, and technology service contracts.

 

two         What is technology contract recognition registration?

Registration of technical contracts is a special management task for the technical contract registration agency to verify the contract documents applied by the parties to the technical contract, confirm whether they meet the requirements of the technical contract, make conclusions on whether they belong to the technical contract and what kind of technical contract, register them by category, and approve their technical turnover, technical income, approval and remuneration.

 

three         Why do I need to register for technology contract recognition?

(i) Preferential policies

 1, business tax: units and individuals engaged in technology transfer, technology development, technical advice and technical services, the income obtained is exempted from business tax.

 2. Income tax: the income from qualified technology transfer is exempt from or reduced by corporate income tax, which means that the portion of the income from technology transfer of resident enterprises that does not exceed 5 million yuan in a tax year is exempt from corporate income tax; the portion that exceeds 5 million yuan is reduced by half.

 3. Technology development fee deduction: Enterprises are allowed to deduct 150% of the actual technology development fee incurred during the year against their taxable income. If the actual technology development expenses incurred are not enough, they can be carried forward and deducted within 5 years according to the tax law. The education expenses of employees withdrawn by the enterprise within 2.5% of the total taxable wages can be deducted before enterprise income tax.
