On the afternoon of August 27th, the China-Korea Biotechnology Conference was jointly hosted by Korea Material Parts Investment Institute Association, East National Technology Transfer Center (hereinafter referred to as "East Center"), and Dagang Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Technology Investment Forum was successfully held. The forum adopted the real-time connection between China and Korea, and conducted online exhibition and communication on four Korean biopharmaceutical and diagnostic technology projects.

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Wei Guangfu, Director of the Korea Materials & Parts Investment Corporation and Ms. Ye Lei, Director of International Channel Department of the East Center, introduced the development of biotechnology industry in China and Korea, and emphasized that as one of the three key industries in Shanghai, biomedicine is a key industry for Shanghai to attract effective investment.

During the project roadshow, GEAGLE's skin surgery & management equipment and medical treatment devices, GENECKER's ultra-precise non-invasive cancer diagnostic technology and development of second-generation base sequence analysis services, YOUTH BIO GLOBAL's stem cell therapeutics for ischemic diseases, and J2C's iris recognition optics and solutions were presented in turn. Representatives of more than ten domestic technology transfer services and investment institutions asked questions and exchanged ideas with the project team. The discussion was lively and the questions raised were highly targeted, providing a lot of practical suggestions for the future development of the project in China.

Since 2019, the Eastern Center has taken the lead in initiating the Shanghai International Channel Collaboration, which is directed by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. As a partner organization of the international channel collaboration platform, Dagang Consulting has always maintained close cooperation with the Eastern Center. This year, the scope of collaboration has been further expanded to the entire Yangtze River Delta region, with as many as 42 participating organizations, covering 38 countries and regions in five continents.

This forum is the first China-Korea online event jointly held by the East Center and international channel collaboration platform organizations, which is a brand new and important attempt for the East Center to continuously enrich the content of international channel collaboration, bind the platform service organizations in depth, and jointly carry out international science and technology project exchange.
