In the afternoon of July 23, Luo Jianqiang, Director of the Bureau of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, led a team to visit the National Eastern Technology Transfer Center (hereinafter referred to as the Eastern Center), and was warmly received by Zou Shujun, CEO of the Eastern Center, and Liu Yang, Director of the Cooperation and Training Department. During the investigation and research, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the development history, business composition and construction of the East Center, as well as issues related to the technology transfer industry. Director Luo Jianqiang affirmed the development of the East Center in recent years, and visited the Shanghai-Kunming and Shanghai-Ningbo Science and Technology Innovation Center.

After the site visit, the two sides held an exchange forum. During the discussion, Mr. Zou gave a detailed introduction of the East Center's exploration in business adjustment, channel construction and industrial empowerment. At the meeting, Mr. Luo Jianqiang, Director General of the East Center, and relevant participants from Yuhang expressed their recognition of the East Center's pioneering efforts in technology transfer and achievement transformation services, and both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the subsequent deepening of cooperation between the Yuhang branch center.

On the morning of July 24, the 2020 China Science and Technology Achievement Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition City Promotion Meeting was successfully held in Shanghai. The China Science and Technology Achievements Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by the Administrative Committee of Hangzhou Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone and the East National Technology Transfer Center, with the aim of promoting the development of events for the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, further opening up the channel for the transformation of science and technology, accelerating the speed of the transformation and application of major scientific and technological achievements, promoting the sharing of innovation elements across platforms and the development of innovative industries across regions, and effectively putting innovation leadership into practice.

In the future, the two sides will base on the construction of Yuhang branch center, actively promote the various cooperation around technology transfer, focus on local industries, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, help the construction and development of science and technology system in Yuhang, better serve local enterprises and industries in Yuhang, and help promote the construction of the source of the whole region innovation.
