International synergy escalated again! East Center's two annual internationalization projects set sail together

On the afternoon of July 17, the 2020 International Channel Collaboration Platform Construction Kick-off Meeting and the Third Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge Special Mobilization Meeting were successfully held in Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market. The event attracted more than fifty science and technology service agencies in the Yangtze River Delta region to collaborate with agencies with international technology transfer channel layout and professional service capabilities in the region, promote business exchanges among regional service agencies, and jointly carry out the docking and landing of overseas resources in the context of the Yangtze River Delta integration strategy.

At the meeting, Mr. Liang Bing, Deputy Director of Innovation Service Department of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission (SSTC), firstly pointed out the necessity of international science and technology innovation work in the future in light of the current international situation, and expressed that SSTC has been actively supporting the international channel collaborative work since last year, and that cooperation is more important than competition. Afterwards, Mr. Chen Chao, Vice President of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and General Manager of Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market, introduced the business adjustment of the Eastern Center this year, which will play the role of a platform and cooperate with more professional service providers to achieve win-win situation. During the introduction of the international channel collaboration platform, Mr. Ye Lei, Director of International Channel Department of East Center, summarized the milestones achieved in last year's collaboration, and introduced several highlights of this year's collaboration. The highlights of this year's collaboration include expanding the channel collaboration platform to the Yangtze River Delta region, improving project quality and conducting online pre-assessment for overseas projects, and focusing on overseas talents to attract talents from overseas, which will facilitate business communication among platform organizations to a greater extent. At the kick-off meeting, Green Chancellor, an organization focusing on new materials on the Channel Synergy Platform, shared with representatives of various organizations its service experience in landing British hydrogen energy projects in China, and expressed its hope that through the Channel Synergy Platform, it would cooperate with more organizations with complementary businesses to jointly carry out overseas project docking work.

Another highlight of the event was the special mobilization meeting for the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge. Huang Yanzhe, Director of the Operation Department of the East Center Technology Mall, gave details of the 3rd Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge to the participating organizations. This year's Challenge focuses on four sections: large enterprise session, overseas session, regional session and industry session, with a comprehensive iterative upgrade of the platform and rules, and the addition of a new result matching function. In addition, every demand will be queried in detail and tracked throughout the entire process to promote more efficient docking work.

At the end of July last year, the Eastern Center held a symposium on the construction of Shanghai international channel collaborative window, and then entered into the trial operation phase. A total of 16 organizations participated in the trial operation of the platform and collected and screened 51 overseas projects with the intention to develop in China, of which 19 projects are still in the process of docking and 6 projects have been matched with domestic intentions. Cooperative enterprises. At today's launch event, more than 80% of the channel collaboration platform has already cooperated with organizations to continue to participate, while attracting 39 new organizations to participate, including five from Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

This year, international channel collaboration has been expanded to the Yangtze River Delta region. The basic concept of the Yangtze River Delta International Collaboration Platform is that Shanghai will provide the most sought-after international science and technology resources, gather the industrial advantages of the Yangtze River Delta, and through the support of the local government and the participation of many service providers, precisely match the advanced overseas science and technology resources, attract quality achievements to settle in the Yangtze River Delta, or provide global technology solutions for enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, so as to build a synergistic platform that can share resources, do business and generate revenue. The 3rd Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge was launched in February ahead of schedule for the epidemic prevention session, and the work of each session is also in full swing. 2020 Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge will further stimulate enterprises to take the initiative in announcing their innovation needs, guide professional service agencies to provide effective docking and tracking services, and further explore international cooperation and Yangtze River Delta collaborative innovation promotion mechanisms.
