In the morning of November 28th, Yunnan Branch of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center signed a contract and held a work promotion meeting at Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology. Gao Jun, deputy director of Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, Hou Shuqian, president of Yunnan Provincial Academy of Science and Technology, Xie Jihua, president of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, and Zou Shujun, executive vice president of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.

On behalf of Yunnan Science and Technology Department, Mr. Gao expressed his gratitude for the long-term support from the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, and looked forward to the practical cooperation between the Center and the Yunnan Science and Technology Institute to help Yunnan strengthen the governance system and capacity building for technology transfer, design overall solutions for Yunnan's industrial development, and strengthen the training of technology transfer talents.

President Hou introduced the results achieved by the Yunnan Science and Technology Institute in promoting the transfer of results, technology into Yunnan, Shanghai-Dian science and technology cooperation, and hoped that the Yunnan Branch Center would focus on the development of parks and counties under the framework of Shanghai-Dian cooperation and promote the transfer of technology in Yunnan.

President Xie Jihua introduced the history of the development of the Eastern National Center for Technology Transfer from the construction of incubators, the exploration of science and technology finance, and the construction iteration of the innovation system for technology transfer layout, and also shared the experience and thoughts of technology transfer and transformation from the Eastern Center. Mr. Xie expressed his expectation for the cooperation between the Yunnan Branch Center and the Shanghai-Tianni Science and Technology Cooperation Center to carry out in-depth cooperation in the direction of industry incubation, capital empowerment, transaction services and other services to serve the regional economic development.

At the meeting, Xu Jian, vice president of Yunnan Science and Technology Institute, and Zou Shujun, vice president of Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, signed a cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both sides.

After the meeting, a plaque hanging ceremony was held for the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center Yunnan Branch Center, and President Xie Jihua, together with Deputy Director Gao Jun, President Hou Shuqian and Vice President Xu Jian hung the plaque for the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center Yunnan Branch Center, witnessing the new time for the full launch of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center Yunnan Branch Center.

The official launch of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center in Yunnan will serve as a new link in serving Shanghai-Tianni science and technology cooperation, create a new grip to boost the development of industrial innovation, build a new platform for cross-regional flow and concentration of innovation factors between the two regions, and serve to enhance the effectiveness of science and technology cooperation and industrial innovation development between the two regions.

The Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology (YAST), as the co-founding unit of the Yunnan Branch of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, is a public welfare institution approved by the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government and managed by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
