Sino-British Artificial Intelligence Technology Exchange and Matchmaking Meeting Successfully Held

On June 25, the Sino-British Artificial Intelligence Technology Exchange and Matchmaking Meeting was successfully held in the Upper Bay Valley Technology Park. The event was directed by the Science and Technology Commission of Yangpu District, the UK Department of International Trade, and co-hosted by the National Technology Transfer Eastern Centre, Yangpu Science and Technology Market, the UK-China Trade Association, and co-hosted by Kechuang (Shanghai Cloud Hatching Information Technology Co., Ltd.). The event was attended by representatives from Chinese and British technology enterprises, investment institutions, research universities, and upstream and downstream industrial parks in the AI sector.

Tong Weiping, Deputy Director of Yangpu District Science and Technology Commission, was invited to deliver a speech for the event and said in his speech that the new generation of artificial intelligence is profoundly changing the economic and social development model, presenting new characteristics of deep learning, cross-border fusion, human-computer collaboration, group intelligence and openness, and autonomous operation. As a strategic technology leading the future, many countries have taken AI as a major strategy to enhance their competitiveness. The high quality technology projects that participated in the roadshow received great attention from the attendees, and the representatives of the British companies were also keen to further promote the commercialization of their high-tech products and R&D cooperation through cooperation with Chinese enterprises. The two sides had a good sharing and interaction in the one-on-one exchange session, and the atmosphere was warm.
