2018 China (Shanghai) Big Data Industry Innovation Summit Opens

 

On September 6, "2018 China (Shanghai) Blockchain Technology Innovation Summit and 2018 China (Shanghai) Big Data Industry Innovation Summit" opened in Shanghai, which is also the first blockchain heavyweight conference hosted by relevant provincial government departments in China.

Shanghai's underlying blockchain platform is currently leading in China, and in the future it will focus on developing a number of blockchain systems and platforms with core competitiveness to build blockchain eco-technology with global influence. At the summit, Qu Lin, director of the Blockchain Industry Center of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, opened the third China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the first Yangtze River Delta Blockchain International Innovation Challenge.

The first preliminary round of the first Yangtze River Delta Blockchain International Innovation Challenge has been successfully launched in Shanghai. Qu Lin, Director of the Blockchain Industry Center of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center and General Manager of Shanghai Lingang Science and Technology Innovation Center, attended the event and delivered an opening speech. Wang Yuehua, partner of Druking Innovation and representative of the initiator of Shanghai Blockchain Industry Investment Alliance, delivered a speech to the judges.

The jury of the competition covers experts from industry, academia, research, government and enterprises, and the topics of the competition cover ten fields such as culture and innovation, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and finance. According to the competition system, the winning teams/companies in the preliminary rounds will be directed to the finals of the 3rd China Innovation Challenge (Shanghai) and the 1st Yangtze River Delta Blockchain International Innovation Challenge. At the competition site, representatives from the demand side of innovation and the solution side witnessed heated technical discussions and in-depth discussions on the possibilities of blockchain technology and the necessity of industrial integration. Judges from various sectors gave constructive ideas and suggestions for the promotion of blockchain landing.

Xue Yin, deputy director of the East Center's Blockchain Industry Center, said that the hot atmosphere on the scene played the value of the competition and saw the prospects for the development of the blockchain industry in the eyes of down-to-earth entrepreneurs, and the industry center will also play its advantage of resource clustering to empower the industry.

It is reported that the final round of the competition will be contested in early November this year, and the winning project will receive tens of millions of investment from the Blockchain Industry Guidance Fund and fifty blockchain investment institutions, and will reach a strategic cooperation in the strategic application scenario of the Blockchain Center.
