In order to accelerate the cultivation of high-tech enterprises in the city, promote the work of the 2018 First Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge, effectively unleash the innovation needs of the city's science and technology enterprises and enhance their innovation capabilities, the citywide mobilization meeting of the First Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge was successfully held in the afternoon of June 13 in the Auditorium of the Science Hall. Leaders and representatives from district science and technology authorities, universities, research institutes technology transfer centers and technology transfer platforms and institutions attended the mobilization meeting.

The meeting was hosted by Mr. Chen Hongkai, Director of Innovation Service of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission. This year's Challenge focuses on internationalization and regionalization, and the needs of the competition will eventually be released to the world through international channels, collecting excellent solutions from home and abroad, and exporting advanced technologies from the Yangtze River Delta region to neighboring Belt and Road countries, realizing "one in, one out".

Later, Sun Dongfang, Deputy Director of Innovation Service Division of Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Yan Mingfeng, CEO of National Technology Transfer East Center, Xu Yayun, Deputy Director of Minhang District Science and Technology Commission, Tang Xiaolin, CEO of "Kechuang" platform, Shi Zhidong, CEO of 114 industry-university-research platform, respectively, to accelerate the cultivation of high-tech enterprises in the city's mobilization, the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Center, and the development of high-tech enterprises. The keynote speech was delivered on the promotion and security of the Challenge, the sharing of regional mobilization practices for the Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge, and the sharing of enterprises' innovation needs and services.

In the future, the government will promote more inclusive policies to serve the transformation and development of various high-tech enterprises and technology enterprises in the industry. Yan Mingfeng reported on the promotion of the Challenge from the aspects of event characteristics and event security. This year, the eastern center platform will make use of the online service platform of the Technology Mall to provide comprehensive support for matters related to the Challenge. Xu Yayun, the deputy director of the eastern center, said that all the cities and towns in Minhang District are fully mobilized to promote the Challenge, and the Challenge will be held in June and July to expand its popularity. Ms. Tang and Mr. Shi shared their experiences in exploring the needs of enterprises as active and quality service providers participating in the Challenge. Tang introduced the six-step process of the platform. She believed that the most difficult part is the design of the cooperation model, which is also the pride of the platform. Shi Zhidong said when talking about the experience, the most important thing in the interface between institutions and enterprises is to identify the right contact person, guide enterprises to say their needs, "no enterprise is free of technical problems, will not draw out the enterprise technical problems, is not a good technical broker".
