As a concrete measure to connect with Shanghai and cooperate and develop, the second "Red Boat Cup" Jiaxing Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition was held in the afternoon of May 27th in Shanghai International Technology Mall. The competition was hosted by the CPC Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee and Jiaxing Municipal People's Government, and jointly organized by Huanqiu Talent Exchange Center, Shanghai National University Technology Market, Shanghai International Technology Mall and Shanghai Jin Cai Human Resources Service Co.

The second "Red Boat Cup" Jiaxing Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition has three districts: Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen. On the basis of the first edition, the current policy support for outstanding projects is heavily increased, in order to strengthen the docking and communication with domestic universities, research institutes, talent enterprises, to better promote Jiaxing and the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the Pearl River Delta in the innovation infrastructure, innovation factor market, transformation of innovation results, innovation industry transfer and other areas of cooperation and communication and interconnection, to attract more quality talents at home and abroad. Scientific research institutions and innovative companies' innovative projects are located, innovated and incubated in Jiaxing.

Representatives from famous universities and research institutes such as Fudan University, Suzhou Nano Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, Shanghai Second Institute of Technology and other famous incubators and service organizations such as CU Innovation Valley, Hopingspace Huapin Creative Space, Chenhao Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. and some of the participating projects exchanged ideas with more than 20 representatives of science and technology parks from Jiaxing at the conference.

According to Zhang Xiaoqun, deputy director of Huanqiu Talent Exchange Center, Huanqiu Talent Exchange Center can be the organizer of the domestic competition mainly because of the long-term cooperation relationship established between Huanqiu Talent Exchange Center and national science and technology parks, colleges and universities, research institutes, etc. for the introduction and incubation of projects, which can push more technology projects matching with Jiaxing's industrial base for the competition. The competition is co-organized by the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Shanghai University Technology Market and Shanghai International Technology Mall, and supported by Shanghai Pudong New Area Returned Students Association, Warburg Pincus Information Technology Co. So as to attract more outstanding projects that are willing to settle in Jiaxing to participate in the competition.

Jiaxing, the birthplace of the Party, is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta city group, bordering Shanghai to the east, Suzhou to the north, Hangzhou to the west and Hangzhou Bay to the south, the hinterland of the "three major economic circles" of Shanghai, Taihu Lake and Hangzhou Bay. It forms a "1-hour traffic circle" with the surrounding major cities. Jiaxing is the national new wisdom city benchmark city, national Wuzhen Internet innovation and development pilot zone, national intellectual property demonstration city, Zhejiang Province comprehensive innovation reform pilot zone, Zhejiang Province fully integrated with Shanghai demonstration zone, Zhejiang Province science and technology financial reform and innovation pilot zone. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition will attract more high-quality talents, research institutions and innovative enterprises at home and abroad to land, innovate and incubate their projects in Jiaxing.
