Everyone has a dream, some forget, some give up, but others still persevere.In May 2017, a joint mountaineering team established by the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Shanghai Yangpu Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, and Tianya Investment Holdings, the first in the technology transfer field, incubators, and technology companies, challenged the sacred Everest, but encountered force 8 winds as they stormed to the summit. The team held on for several days in the face of the snow and wind, and were finally forced to evacuate for safety reasons, saying a tearful farewell to the summit of Everest, which was "one step away".
Everest is the holy land that every climber yearns for most, but climbing Everest is a long-term systematic process. After nearly a year of preparation, they finally chose to take on the challenge again, proving the declaration of "Endless Journey" with their actions.
From April 2018, the United Mountaineering Team, with the support of the Kaitu Climbing Team, once again made an impact on Everest. Under the leadership of Mr. Wang Tienan, general advisor and honorary captain of the team, the United Mountaineering Team set out from Everest Base Camp on May 11, passing through the Khumbu Glacier, which is known as the "Terror Glacier", the C3 camp with an altitude of 7200 meters, the C4 camp with an altitude of 7950 meters and the assault camp with an altitude of 8300 meters, and finally on the On May 16, we successfully ascended to the summit of Mount Everest, which is 8844.43 meters above sea level. In front of Everest, in such a walk and conversation, we fully realize the slight and smallness of human beings in front of nature. But only personally visit Everest, to appreciate the limit of beauty is not the most beautiful, because the most beautiful is not beauty, but can reach out to touch the blue sky, is the blue sky, is 10,000 feet high and soaring and self-contained lofty feelings!
Mountains are to be climbed, dangers are to be overcome. Every climbing journey will test human nature; every journey of innovation and entrepreneurship, will also be rich in life with passion. Stepping off, sweat all the way, head forward, some people stop and go, just to enjoy the process. Some people sprint all the way, just want to taste the unknown scenery early. Some people climb a mountain, stay in the picturesque scenery, set up camp and no longer trek. Some people, however, set out again to conquer another mountain after a rest and recuperation.
The first and foremost thing to climb a mountain is to have courage, and the first and foremost thing to explore the business of technology transfer is courage, the courage to give up a comfortable life for a while, the courage to face unknown hardships on one's own, and the courage to face one's weaknesses and work hard to hone oneself. In recent years, more and more young people have chosen the path of innovation and experimentation, full of hope and passion to pursue their dreams, but the road to their dreams is never smooth, with doubts, mockery, and the ravages of time. Therefore, as the creator of the ecological environment for technology transfer and the builder of the demonstration zone for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, we are once again aware of the responsibility and pressure we bear.
