The 7th edition of the "Doing Business with Intellectual Property Asia Forum", co-organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (i.e. HKTDC) and Hong Kong Design Centre, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7-8 December 2017. Mr. Zou Shujun, Executive Vice President of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center and head of the Cluster, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on "Opportunities and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Asia" at Forum III. He discussed the development history of AI technology and its application in China, the comparative application of AI technology in China and the United States, and the application of AI technology in Asian countries. The application of the technology in China and Asia is at a developmental stage and still has huge room for exploration, and points out that AI technology has become a key development area for China in the future from a national policy perspective.
