Climbing technology transfer Everest with the belief of technological innovation

When you think of Mount Everest, "magnificent", "sacred", "unattainable" and "out of reach" probably pop into your mind. The impressions of this mountain are "dangerous", "rugged", "lofty" and "majestic". Every year, this sacred mountain opens its majestic bosom to welcome a succession of human beings who attempt to conquer it.

On April 18, the joint mountaineering team of National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Yangpu Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center and TianYa Investment Holdings was ready to start their 36-day summit as the only mountaineering team in the technology transfer industry and among the technology enterprises in Shanghai.

Mount Everest, a high and mighty peak with a unique geographic environment, the lowest temperature on the summit is -34℃ all year round. Some places on the mountain perennial snow does not melt, glaciers, ice slopes, ice tower forest can be seen everywhere. The air on the summit is thin, and the oxygen content of the air is only a quarter of that in the eastern plains, often blowing seven or eight strong winds. Twelfth-grade winds are also not uncommon. The wind blows the snow, splashing and dancing in all directions, filling the sky.

The climate in the Everest region and its nearby peaks is complex and often unpredictable, even in a single day, let alone within the four seasons of the year.

Mount Everest is the main peak of the Himalayas and is the highest peak in the world. It is located on the border between the People's Republic of China and Nepal. Its northern slope is on the Tibetan Plateau in China, its southern slope is in Nepal, and its summit is in China. In Tibetan, "Chumu" means goddess and "Langma" means third. Since there are four other peaks in the vicinity of Mount Everest, and Everest is the third, it is called Mount Everest.

Someone asked why you're passionate about climbing, and British explorer Mallory gave the classic answer: because that's where the mountains are.

Some want to conquer, some want to challenge themselves, and some want to be accepted and embraced. But "the mountain is there. I'm going to climb it." It is a sacred mission in the heart of every climber, guided by the heart.

Just like the technical innovation of East Center, Yangchuang and TianYa Holdings, these team members have the great mission and responsibility to build the Science and Technology Center, and they keep on forging ahead for a common ideal and common belief.

For Wang Tienan, honorary captain of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Yangpu Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, and general advisor of the TianYa Investment Holdings joint mountaineering team, he is hoping to choose a lifestyle he loves with as much fervor as he can muster.

He led the team, to overcome not only the harsh climate of the snow mountain environment, their own mental and physical conditioning, in the mountain pulling practice at all times there will be a variety of unexpected circumstances, from equipment to food, from accommodation to survival, more or less unknown.

Climbing Everest is an unknown challenge for first-time climbers, and although they are well-prepared, they still need to face unpredictable hardships. From incubator to technology transfer, from service product model, market service system, technology transaction factor market, financial capital system and other diversified construction, we are from 0 to 1 to 10, and at every stage, our team is always pursuing the concept of "the road is long, the journey is near".

The rose has thorns, the lovers never cease; the snow mountain is harsh, the courageous pursue it. The road of technology transfer and science and technology innovation is also a path full of rugged and bumpy, we are constantly trial and error, we want to standardize those personalized innovation elements and form a standardized set of market service system, our goal is to serve not only Shanghai, but also the whole country and the world. The courageous people with strong heart and vision choose to conquer Mount Everest, just as the team members of East Center, Yangchuang and TianYa Holdings started from a global perspective from the very beginning, we not only want to be the hub of resource collection, but also hope to cross regions and borders to make scientific and technological innovation and technology transfer for the benefit of all mankind.

If we conquer this mountain, then we conquer something in people's souls. The spirit of mountaineering is a kind of inner sublimation of personality and belief, and people who don't mountaineer may not be able to understand this fanaticism. Just as East Center, Yangchuang, and Tianya Holdings take the unique road of science and technology, the ecological environment of technology transaction system, financial service system, and market service system built by us is a kind of brand, and we want to bring the brand of this innovation gene to the society and the world.

If we give the name of victor to those who reach the highest peak, then those who insist on their ideals and have the courage to give up, and even those who sleep in the snow mountains in the middle of the journey, although they have not reached the summit, but still worthy of respect and sobbing. Wang Tienan they prepared from 6500m No.2 camp - up to 7200m No.3 camp - up to 7900m No.4 camp - landing 8500m platform. -- the summit. It was a journey that carried their long-held dreams, the fears and hopes of their families, and the attention of the entire climbing community. No matter where they stood, they had already won. The victory was in spirit and in faith.

As a scientist, why not all climb this sacred snowy mountain in your heart? The business of science, technology innovation and technology transfer to which we dedicate ourselves and to which we strive has not always been easy, and we have failed in the constant practice of our innovative initiatives and explorations, but each step is a leap forward, and each stage we go through has gained a new transformation and growth.

Everest has many climbers every year, among them new faces and old ones. How small they are when they look up at the top of the snowy mountain, but the strength of their souls makes the mountain remember each and every one of them by name. From the moment they set out on their own climb, the snowy mountains crowned all those who dared to set out on the path of conquest with the title of the brave.

The same is true for us scientists. The road to innovation is never ending. What we pursue is never the end. It is not the summit of our addiction. The world of innovation we explore is like a oneworld, and the process of constantly trying to surpass is our norm. We believe that new beginnings and journeys are just around the corner.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum, General Secretary Xi once said.

There's a problem.

Don't blame yourself.

Don't blame others.

Don't give up faith.

Don't run away from your responsibilities.

It's about beating the odds together.

History is made by the brave.

Let's have faith.

take action

join hands

towards the future

Go ahead!

"

With a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Wang Tienan.

As a climber, although he is already in his early years, he still has the courage to struggle and dare to pursue his dream of more than 20 years, to keep the faith and never give up.

As a husband, he understands that life does not belong only to himself, his family, his friends' concern, support and trust make him know that giving up is also a kind of courage, giving up does not mean failure, does not mean that all the perseverance is empty in an instant. Giving up may be an important step towards success.

Thanks to him, we see persistence as an inspiration to us scientists: no matter the outcome, we must stay true to our original intention and not waver.

Thanks to him, we can see the fearlessness and feel that even though the road ahead is difficult, every step is strong.

He is a benchmark in our hearts, the top of the sky, he has our technology enterprise workers admire the spirit and style of the leader, the future of the road, we will be firm steps, head into a new milestone.
