On July 21, Lu Zhipeng, Deputy Secretary of Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Taizhou, and Zhang Yulin, Mayor of Taixing, along with a delegation of more than 10 people from relevant parties and governments visited Yangpu District Bay Valley Technology Park for exchange and research. During the discussion, Deputy Mayor Xie first introduced to the guests the characteristics of Yangpu District to build and host the current stage of the global impact of science and technology center, then the mayor of Lu and Zhang, respectively, briefly described the development status of key industries in Taizhou City and Taixing City and future plans, and expressed the main purpose of the visit, mainly for the upgrading of key industries in Taizhou and Taixing with Yangpu District, Bay Valley Science Park, and National Technology Transfer Eastern Center and other related platforms to dock resources to accelerate industrial transfer. Subsequently, Ma Qing, deputy director of Yangpu District Science and Technology Committee, also made a preliminary intention to assist the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center in Taizhou, Taixing and other places to set up sub-centers for technology transfer, so as to further expand the technology transfer work in the Yangtze River Delta. Finally, the two sides invited each other and jointly expressed that under the policy environment of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", Taizhou and Taixing will have more discussions and exchanges on technology transfer and cooperation with Shanghai in the future.
