Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market Establishes New Channels for China-Japan Technology Cooperation

In the afternoon of April 30th, 2020, with the support of Minhang District Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai, Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market and Shanghai Lehlin Technology Co., Ltd. signed a Sino-Japanese channel building framework agreement, and connected with Japanese representative organizations and friends from all walks of life to communicate on topics related to Sino-Japanese technology.

As early as March, Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market (STEM) and Leylin have been planning to conduct technology ecological exchange between Chinese and Japanese official organizations through an online platform. The leaders of YEG Association of Japan, JCI Youth Association (Sayama City) and Shanghai Minhang Science and Technology Committee have communicated with each other on the science and technology innovation between China and Japan, and both sides expressed their willingness to further cooperation and discussion on the introduction of Chinese and Japanese technologies and enterprises. The signing of this agreement represents that the Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market (SITEM) has built a new bridge for cross-border technology exchange in the Minhang National Science and Technology Achievement Transfer Demonstration Zone, and is also one of the cooperation channels between China, Japan and Korea that SITEM has established this year.

After the event, representatives of Chinese and Japanese parties delivered speeches and made brief introductions, then witnessed by representatives of Minhang Science and Technology Commission, General Manager of Shanghai International Technology Exchange Market Chen Chao and CEO of Shanghai Leylin signed a framework agreement on Sino-Japanese channel construction with CEO Shen Lei. In addition, Leylin Technology signed a Sino-Japanese technology introduction agreement with the Japanese representative, Nikko Online. Both parties signed the agreement will be committed to promoting Sino-Japanese enterprise and technology exchanges in the future, gradually promote the YEG, JCI and other Japanese official associations and organizations in the country, and in-depth discussion on the concentration of related resources in the Minhang National Science and Technology Achievement Transfer Demonstration Zone. After the signing, representatives from both China and Japan held a closed-door meeting to exchange views, and all parties actively expressed their desire for technology and enterprise landing between China and Japan.

Mr. Kishi Katsuhiro, Vice Chairman of the Youth Division of Sayama Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Watanabe Miyuki, Chairman of the Youth Division Development Committee, Mr. Kobayashi Yousuke, Chairman of the Youth Division Human Resources Development Committee, Mr. Kojima Toshio, President of Nikkojima Co. Mr. Toshio Toshio and Mr. Shen Lei, CEO of Shanghai Leylin Technology Co., Ltd. who represented the Japanese side in Shanghai, participated in the event as Japanese representatives. In addition, there were representatives from the major parks in Minhang District, and the participants had a variety of online interaction. At the end of the meeting, Leylin and the Japanese side brought a presentation on the technology projects of two large Japanese enterprises, introducing the environmental protection technology of new materials of Yamato Wood Company and the environmental protection technology of asbestos treatment of asbestos by Asbestos Chemical Company, which attracted the interest of the participants. The online signing of the closed-door meeting between the Chinese and Japanese organizations came to a successful conclusion amid the lively exchanges between the two sides.
