Organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and hosted by the Shanghai Co-way International Technology Transfer Center (SCTTC)"Training course on planning, construction and management of incubators and science and technology parks in Belt and Road countries unveiled on December 10The participants from the course today visited the National Center for Technology Transfer East for a one-day visit and exchange.

The 24 participants, including heads of science and technology administrative departments, managers of science and technology parks and incubators, heads of relevant departments of universities and research institutes and science and technology entrepreneurs, came from 16 countries including Egypt, Cambodia, Laos, Iran, Slovakia, Belarus, Malaysia, Montenegro, South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Poland, Indonesia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Pakistan.         In the morning, under the guidance of staff members such as Ye Lei, Director of the International Affairs Center of the National Center for Technology Transfer East (NCTE), the course participants first visited the NCTE and Warburg Pincus Information Technology Corporation (WPC) located in the Bay Valley Technology Park.        In the afternoon training session, Wang Zhen, Party Secretary of Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, Ye Lei, Director of International Affairs Center of Eastern National Technology Transfer Center, and Sun Haisheng, Deputy Director of Resource Development Department of Jiangsu Research Institute of Industrial Technology, shared the innovation and entrepreneurship practice and development experience of their respective units and enterprises.

Mr. Wang Zhen firstly introduced the public science and technology service activities related to innovation and ecology implemented by Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center, covering a wide range of aspects such as science and technology enterprises, science and technology finance, technology transfer and incubation carriers.

Director Ye Lei introduced the East Center's innovative ecological system of technology achievement transfer, functional platform construction, global technology transfer network system, and shared the East Center's innovative attempts in technology achievement equity incentive, technology achievement value mining, technology achievement auction and other aspects.

Mr. Sun introduced the construction and development of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI) in detail and warmly invited the visitors to visit the institute.

        In the group discussion and interactive session, the three speakers exchanged ideas with the participants on hot issues such as transnational technology transfer, exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises, and training of technology transfer talents.

        It is reported that this training course aims to introduce China's science and technology innovation strategy and advantageous science and technology resources, service system to support the development of high-tech industries and innovation and entrepreneurship and related policies to the "Belt and Road" related countries, share the theory and practical experience in the planning and management of incubators and science and technology parks, enhance "The management capacity of incubators and science and technology parks in the Belt and Road countries will also be strengthened. At the same time, it will also strengthen China's understanding of the construction of science and technology innovation systems in the relevant countries, as well as related policies and needs, build a science and technology innovation cooperation network in the "Belt and Road" countries, and help China's high-tech enterprises and products to "go global".

As a national-level regional technology transfer platform, the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center was an important platform for the workshop participants to learn about the development of China's technology transfer and innovation and entrepreneurship sectors, and will be a model window for more such activities in the future.
