The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and its delegation visited the National Center for Technology Transfer in the East

On the morning of June 8, President Maxim Streikha of Ukraine and his delegation, accompanied by Deputy Director Jiang Yuying of Coordination Service Department of Zhangjiang Administrative Committee, visited the East National Technology Transfer Center, which was received by the team led by Executive Vice President Zou Shujun. The two sides had a substantive discussion and study on how to build and develop the national technology transfer platform in the civil sector.

After Chairman Stryha introduced the domestic science and technology situation in Ukraine, our side introduced the current situation of the platform and the operation norms of the domestic and foreign branches. By uniting all kinds of science and technology and service enterprises and platforms, the East Centre will strengthen scientific and technological cooperation in all fields, give full play to the scientific and technological and industrial advantages of both sides, enhance the competitiveness of various industries through financial and policy support for joint industrial research and development projects, and thus strengthen the cooperation between various parties in the economic and commercial fields.

Since the establishment of relations between the two countries, China and Ukraine have been steadily deepening and developing, especially in a number of fields such as aerospace and shipbuilding, with deep cooperation. In recent years, with the global warming, new challenges in the fields of life sciences and agricultural technology have been faced, and there are many opportunities for cooperation between China and Ukraine in front of this same challenge.

President Streikha said that after visiting the East Center, he learned about China's advanced experience in building a technology transfer center with global influence, which will be of great help in improving its technology transfer center in Ukraine in the future. He is looking forward to more in-depth practical cooperation in the future. Ukraine is a world leader in science and technology innovation and R&D in many fields, and the East China Center is a science and technology innovation center with global influence that Shanghai is accelerating to build. The two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and will continue to seek new opportunities for cooperation in the future to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefit.
