Kazakhstan's National Agency for Technological Development and the National Eastern Center for Technology Transfer Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

In the morning of May 17, Kazakhstan delegation to China visited the East National Technology Transfer Center to conduct research and exchange, Executive Vice President of the East National Technology Transfer Center Zou Shujun and colleagues from the Global Channel Operation and Maintenance Center received the visitors.

A group of leaders visited the multi-functional hall on the second floor of the National Center for Technology Transfer East, and introduced the background of the construction of the National Center for Technology Transfer East, the functional positioning and service content of the Shanghai Technology Exchange, the Shanghai National University Technology Market and the international technology transfer function gathering area in the Zhangjiang Demonstration Zone to the Kazakhstan representatives. They also learned more about the building of the service system, ecological system and a series of work around the core of technology transfer of the Eastern National Center for Technology Transfer.

At the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation with a view to strengthening practical cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in such areas as scientific and technological innovation, international technology transfer and industrialization of scientific research results. China and Kazakhstan are supported and encouraged to carry out joint innovation activities within the existing legal framework of the two countries, and the possibility, content and manner of establishing a cooperation mechanism for science and technology innovation in priority areas of economic development of the two countries are discussed. It is hoped that in the future, China and Kazakhstan will further strengthen communication, promote scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges, realize complementary advantages based on their respective advantages and existing resources, and explore more modes of interconnectivity.
