In order to better deepen the research of future smart car technology transfer and transformation and accelerate the construction of the technology bearing platform in the demonstration zone, the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co.

The signing ceremony was attended by Cai Xiaofei, Deputy Mayor of Jiading District, Yan Mingfeng, CEO of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, Li Keqiang, Director of the Department of Automotive Engineering at Tsinghua University, and Rong Wenwei, Chairman, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co.

Intelligent car industry, represented by driverless and connected cars, is the future development direction of the automotive industry.In China, the development of intelligent networked cars has been elevated to a national strategic height.In 2015, the State Council issued "Made in China 2025", the intelligent networked cars as one of the three key development directions of energy-saving and new energy vehicles. But at present, the whole industry technology is still in the initial groping stage, the interconnection of people and vehicles, the Internet, the interconnection of cars and the external environment, as well as the interconnection of cars between different car manufacturers, the future development of the technology industry in the smart car industry needs an innovative exchange bearing cooperation station.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Cai Xiaofei, Deputy Mayor of Jiading District, and Mr. Yan Mingfeng, CEO of National Technology Transfer East Center, unveiled the "Intelligent Automotive Technology Transformation Center". The two sides will make use of their advantages in resource platform and leading technology in the smart car industry to actively cooperate in the whole chain of industry such as displaying results of advanced technology projects, trading and application service around the transformation and incubation of technology projects. The transfer center will strengthen the transfer of scientific and technological achievements to market-oriented services, solve the problems of the technology market in the supply-side demand-side upstream and downstream chain connection, through project recruitment, technology exchange, business incubation, activities, publicity, construction of venues (laboratories), technology evaluation, guide fund preparation and other ways to create an incubation and technology transfer and transformation platform integrated with industry, academia and research into an innovative model. Since the State Council approved Shanghai's plan to speed up the construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence, the Eastern Technology Transfer Center is positioned to integrate social resources, build an open innovation system and become the creator of a market environment for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, said Yan Mingfeng, CEO of the Eastern Technology Transfer Center, in an interview. The Eastern Center hopes to develop more service platforms that can help better connect technological resources to the market and to capital, and provide support for the transformation of more technological innovations. In addition, Auto Shanghai will also cooperate and communicate with Tsinghua University and the National Center for Supervision and Inspection of Motor Vehicle Products Quality (Shanghai) on automotive technology research and development, research and development of standards and specifications, product testing and certification, to ensure a continuous supply of industrial resources and technical innovation capacity for the transformation center.

The cooperation between the East National Technology Transfer Center and the Shanghai International Automobile City, which has the first "Intelligent Connected Vehicle Demonstration Zone" in China, will further promote the industrialization of advanced technologies in the future intelligent automobile manufacturing industry and take a path of deep integration between the transformation of technological achievements and the industry market.
